How to cut your own blunt bangs

Blunt bangs are an explosive hairstyle continuing on into 2013. Blunt bangs are meant to accentuate your natural beauty and highlight your beautiful facial features. In some cases, heavy blunt can make you look slimmer, sexier, edgier and younger. Celebrities like Kerry Washington, Jessica Biel and Kiera Knightley have recently looked absolutely stunning in blunt cut bangs. So why not take the plunge? If you’re intimidated by the thought of cutting your own bangs, don’t be. Blunt bangs are the easiest bangs to cut.

Step1: Whether its curly or straight you need to make sure to wet the section of the hair that will be cut.
Step 2: Section off the hair you want to make as bangs or to cut making a triangle with the hair.
Step 3: Depending on how long you want the hair, leave about an inch for after you dry it.
Step 4: Comb the hair straight down and cut while holding scissors vertically.
Step 5: Dry your bangs and just snip the ends to add some texture.
