Cranberries
It’s common knowledge that cranberries can prevent and treat urinary tract infections. But, did you know the berries can also promote gastrointestinal and oral health? They can also prevent the formation of kidney stones, lower LDL (bad cholesterol) and raise HDL cholesterol (the good kind), help stroke victims recover, and aid in preventing cancer. Not to mention, they are cholesterol and fat-free and an excellent source of vitamin C and fiber.
