Don't be fooled by the name--California Baby products are fit for everyone, since they're free of nasty toxins and chemicals that can not only harm baby but any adult! The company even signed the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics compact. I tried California Baby Calendula Everyday Lotion and LOVED it. The convenient pump bottle delivers a light lotion that rubs in quickly and easily, leaving no residue but very hydrated legs (where I used it).
You can see that the leg with the pink sock looks more smooth and a better color--that's because it's hydrated! The purple sock leg has no lotion and is dry and sad.
Here is a close up, confusing because now I am taking pics down my legs, but the purple sock is now on the right of the photo and clearly has the little scales that represent dry skin. The left pink sock leg is scale-free!
California Baby Calendula Everyday Lotion visibly moisturizes, and even passes the sweat test! I hate that "lotion-y sweat" that runs down your legs when you sweat wearing lotion, but this lotion wasn't so thick that it was sitting on my legs just waiting to drip in slimy rivers down my legs. I really enjoyed being able to moisturize without fretting about regretting it later.
I did wonder what the heck Calendula (kal’ len’ dula) is, but the website clarified for me: it is commonly known as the Pot Marigold flower and has been used to safely soothe and heal skin for centuries. Good to know!
