Though I’m alone among my friends in doing so, I take several nice, long baths a week. Sure, showers are quick, but there is definitely something to be said about relaxing with a long, calming bath (thanks, Mom!). I’m always trying different bath salts, oils, and bubble baths, so I was excited when I got to try the Dr. Hauschka Aromatherapy Bath Kit.
The Dr. Hauschka Aromatherapy Bath Kit comes with five different scents of bath oils: lavender, lemon, rosemary, sage, and spruce. My personal favorite was the lavender, but I must admit I am pretty biased—lavender is one of my favorite scents in anything.
After pouring the oil into my bath, I just sat back and soaked it all in. I was surprised at how well the smell of the oil dissipated; I half expected to not be able to smell it after a few minutes. But the scent lasted for my entire bath (and I sat and relaxed for a good while). The oils didn’t irritate my skin or leave me feeling grimy afterward, which was fantastic.
I really enjoyed the Dr. Hauschka Aromatherapy Bath Kit. The smells were strong, (but in a good way) and they really added a different atmosphere to my bath. I liked them better than any drugstore bath oils, that’s for sure.
My favorite scent was lavender. The ingredients are listed below. For a full list of ingredients for each oil, click here.
