Pulling off red lipstick is difficult, but it can be done with the right shade. MAC's Viva Glam 1 (the same line as but not the same shade as Lady Gaga's) is a great color, and I love the matte finish. It's super glamorous without being over-the-top. It was first introduced in 1984 and has spawned five other shades, but the original is still my favorite.
My favorite way to wear such a bold shade is with nude eye makeup. Other times though, I match it with dark eyeliner to feel like Elizabeth Taylor or Marylin Monroe! Either way, this lipstick is a total mood-booster that can change how you feel in a second. Just a simple swipe can punch up your day!
