Schick Xtreme3 Razor

Product Review: Schick Extreme 3 Razor
by Lyssa

It is not at all rare for me to hear, "Wow! Your legs are so smooth!" (they are also long, as we know, so perhaps this is because there is more of them to look at) from friends--and strangers. A woman once asked me what brand of pantyhose I was wearing. I wasn't. My dad claims that we, as a family, are mostly hairless because of our Native American heritage. My grandma recently researched our family history and revealed that we are not, in fact, Native American, but my dad continues to believe the myth. While I did not get hairless genes, I did probably inherit some finer hair.

But it is also possible that I have been using the Schick Xtreme3 razor for as long as I can remember shaving, and it is like a little miracle razor, and it is solely responsible for my smooth legs. While other girls were using those clunky, glittery reusable razors, I had my triple blade green disposable razor. Doesn't matter that this razor is designed for men, its three blades and contouring head, plus moisture strip, leave my skin smooth and stubble-free for days.

Sure, when they came out with the women's version (tropical scented handle! pink!), I tried it. But then I went back to the men's version, because why change a great thing you've had going for years? I've also found, when I strayed from my trusty Schick Xtreme3 razor (not for very long), that the Schick Xtreme3 lasts a lot longer than other disposable razors.

I feel a little ridiculous raving so highly about a razor, but let's be honest: this guy has kept my legs silky smooth for years, and who doesn't want that?

I love this razor too! I thought I was just a good shaver until I tried another razor and realized it's not my skills--it's the razor! I won't leave the Schick again. And they came out with one for women, although I think the only real difference is the color.
