Always on the lookout for the best lip enhancing products, I was more than happy to try out the Smashbox Masquerade Lip Enhancing Gloss. I mean, it says it right there in the name, right?

At first, the Smashbox Masquerade Lip Enhancing Gloss seems to be a regular lip gloss--pretty color, makes my lips shine, smells nice. Only until you've been wearing it a while will you notice just how sticky it is. It is incredibly thick; I feel I really need to slather it on for it to cover the entirety of my pout. Once I've got it all over, it feels fine, yet still quite sticky. It reminds me a little bit of some of the MAC lip glosses--shine heavy and like lip cement (though not quite that severe).

The color, however, adds a beautiful shine to my lips, and I do feel that as a gloss, it works quite well. I just wish it was a little less thick. It would glide on more smoothly and I wouldn't feel the need to over-apply. It's very pretty on my lips and as far as the overall texture, I've tried worse lip products. I didn't like it as much as the Smashbox O-Gloss Intuitive Lip Gloss though--that one wasn't near as sticky or thick.

If you don't mind a thicker gloss, then definitely try the Smashbox Masquerade Lip Enhancing Gloss. It makes your lips looks full and shiny, and that's always a plus!
