University of Maryland Sorority Girl Means Business When It Comes to Greek Week
Awe…college…those days when your most proud moment was pounding a 12-pack of cheap beer in under 30 minutes. Good times you might say. But for one University of Maryland Delta Gamma whatever, life’s been a little hard lately.
By now everyone has heard about the nasty email rant carefully crafted by the sorority girl who had issue with her sisters not being fun enough at Greek events. We’ll spare you the profanities (you can read them here), but we will say, it’s given millions of Americans great pleasure over the last couple of weeks. I mean, let’s face it, we’ve all written emails like that before, we’re just smart enough to hit the backspace button all the way to the “Dear so and so” line.
We’re pretty certain though that this sorority girl has a future in writing.
Diane Sawyer’s Bizarre Behavior During the Election
The votes have been counted and the results are in, President Barak Obama will serve yet another four-year term in the White House. Needless to say while everyone was on their couches clenching their stomachs in anticipation, the Twittersphere was going crazy! In the midst of this most important event, people just couldn’t help but notice Diane Sawyer’s bizarre behavior on ABC News and inevitably took to Twitter to talk about it.
The famous news anchor kept making strange and sometimes slightly inappropriate comments throughout the broadcast, and even seemed to be slurring her speech a bit. Sawyer’s odd behavior immediately led to people accusing her of being drunk during the live broadcast.
At one point she found it exceedingly important to scrutinize the Obama campaign’s choice to put an exclamation mark after their slogan “Forward”.
Later, while her fellow anchors nervously shuffled their papers around, she went on to “remind everyone that people all over the world die…literally die for the right to do what we have all done today.”
We assume she meant voting, but it was a short-lived tangent and she immediately went on to another subject, so I guess we will never know.

Obama Cancels Halloween at the White House
There will be no trick-or-treating muchless free candy at the White House this year. President Obama decided to cancel the Halloween festivities due to the devestation of Hurricane Sandy.
In year’s past, presidents have celebrated the holiday by dressing up and throwing parties. Even their pets were dressed up! Oh well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see which president celebrates next year.
Don’t Mess With Texas
Fiona Apple known for her sultry yet sassy songwriting, got busted for drug possession at a West Texas border check. The singer admitted the drugs found on her tour bus were hers. Border patrol found about four grams of marijuana and a plastic bag with about four grams of a clay-like substance that tested positive for hashish. Possession of hashish is a felony in the state of Texas.
This particular border check has also busted Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg in similar situations.
Despite her arrest, Apple is still set to perform at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
